...
By breaking a few tackles, Chris Reynolds turned this short slant pass into a 13 yard score. He finished the day with 6 catches for 102 yds and 2 touchdowns. Early in the 2nd quarter, Bengals QB Dwayne Brown avoided Jaguar pressure long enough to get off a deep pass but #20 wasn't able to haul it in. Brown connected with Reynolds for a 40 yard TD on the following play.

...
Jaguar safey Chuck Jackson makes a tackle after a 14 yard pass completion. A personal foul on the Jags wiped out the play. Jaguar defender
Murad Williams ended the half by sacking Brown for a 15 yard loss.
1998 NWFL All-League lineman Ryan Coller (66) leads FB Rodney Stokes around the right end for an 8 yard gain late in the 2nd quarter. Coller earned All-League honors again in 1999.

...
Brown connects with John Stepney for 7 yards and a Bengal first down midway through the 3rd quarter. Jag CB Darald Gainer made the stop.

Malachi DeWalt (#6)and Ryan Coller (#66) lead Stepney around the right end for 6 yard gain earlier in the 4th quarter.

A good block on MLB Tommy Thompson allowed Brown to get this pass off but it was knocked down by Jags #56. A Jaguar personal foul on the play gave the Bengals a first down at the Jaguar 41 early in the 4th quarter

Brown was able to get this pass by #98 Robert Shampoe and complete it to #8 Chris Reynolds...

... Reynolds reversed his direction had gained 9 yards before being stopped.

This pass to Reynolds in the endzone fell short.
...
After #61 recovered a Bengal fumble at the Jaguar 19, Dickerson went over the top to #1 who caught the ball but was ruled out of bounds.

Dickerson was able to avoid the Bengals rush long enough to complete an 8 yard pass to Travis Bracken. He entered the game with a QB rating of 138 but constant Bengal pressure limited him to just 17 yards passing on the day.

...
Brown had plenty of time to hit Reynolds for 17 yards down to the Jaguar 21. Despite constant pressure from the Jags D-line, Bengals QB Dwayne Brown had a big game completing 12 of 21 passes for 192 yards and 3 touchdowns. Jags CB Omar Frost stopped the Bengal drive with this interception. Intended receiver Cyril Johnson is shown making the tackle.

.
On 2nd and 15 late in the game, Dickerson dashed through the Bengals pass rush and gained 10 yards before being stopped by #31.

Bengal LB Will Postel sacked Dickerson for a 10 yard loss setting up 4th and 15 from the 12. With nothing to lose, the Jags went for it and came up 13 yards short. Taking over at the Jaguar 14 with time running out, the Bengals needed just two plays to capitalize on the Jaguar mistake with Brown hitting DeWalt for a 25 yard touchdown.
