EJ Ash put the Ravens up 7-0 with this 20 yard run.
The Nightmare drove down to the Ravens 8 but safety Corey Jacobs picked off this deflected pass in the endzone.
EJ Ash returned the opening kickoff 50 yards into Nightmare territory. The Ravens drove down to the Nightmare 26 but WR Coleman McClaren was stopped for no gain on a 4th and 7 reverse. The Nightmare went 3 and out and a short punt set up the Ravens near midfield. A 15 yard penalty created a 3rd and 15 situation. Raven QB Casey Hughes went deep down the sideline to Coleman McClaren who was free behind the Nightmare defense. The ball was slightly underthrown causing McClaren to have to come back to it or he would have scored easily. The play covered 39 yards. EJ Ash finished the drive by slicing thru the heart of the defense and then outracing them to the corner.

The Nightmare needed just 8 plays to move the ball down to the Raven 8. A 38 yard bomb to Steeneck on 3rd and 9 covered most of the yardage. The Nightmare dropped a wide open crossing pattern in the back of the endzone, and then Steeneck scored on a sweep but the play was nullified by a penalty. The Ravens dodged a bullet for the 3rd consecutive play when a receiver running a slant tipped the ball to safety Corey Jacobs who returned it out to the 19 yard line. Jacobs' interception set up a 12 play - 55 yard drive that resulted in Jose Moreno's 42 yard field goal early in the 2nd quarter.
RB #27 broke several tackles on this 13 yard score up the middle.
This 47 yard field goal pulled the Nightmare to within 1.
The Nightmare answered with an 8 play drive that ended with Darryn Steeneck taking it in from 13 yards out. He had 4 carries for 33 yards on the 64 yard drive. The PAT was blocked and the Ravens led 10-6.

Starting at their own 35, the Ravens marched down to the Nightmare 18 with 8 consecutive running plays. The drive was stopped when EJ Ash was stopped for no gain on 4th and 3. Two big pass plays to Eric Alegria (21 yards) and #81 (27 yards) moved the Nightmare to the Raven's 30 where they settled for a 47 yard FG from Travis Ligras, which cut the Raven's lead to 1. The kick easily cleared the upright even though it appeared to be tipped at the line.
RB #27 ran through this tackle attempt on his way to the endzone early in the 3rd quarter.
Nightmare LB #50 made a spectacular leaping interception to end a Raven drive.
The Nightmare opened up the 2nd half with a 9 play - 74 yard drive, with the big chunks of yardage coming through the air. Receivers Jr Wells, Joe Mitchell, and Josh Fross caught passes of 16, 19 and 19 yards despite constant pressure on their QB by Raven defender Drew White. Once again it was Steeneck scoring for the Nightmare, this time from 5 yards out. The pass on the 2 point conversion attempt fell incomplete but the Nightmare had their first lead of the game, 15-10.

The Ravens botched a handoff at their own 34 on the ensuing possession and Jason Curtis recovered for the Nightmare. The Ravens defense held despite being hit with a 10 yard penalty. Nightmare kicker Travis Ligras came on to attempt a 46 yard field goal but the Ravens encroached giving the Nightmare a 1st down at the 24. Two plays later QB Ryan Hann hit Josh Fross who wide open behind the Raven defense in the endzone. Ligras' PAT was good and the Nightmare had a 22-10 lead.

Raven Zak Huricks separated the receiver from the ball on this hit. EJ Ash recovered for the Ravens.
The Ravens capitalized on a Nightmare fumble with this 1 yard run by EJ Ash.
The Ravens appeared rattled. Their first down snap on the ensuing possession was fumbled and barely recovered by the QB. Then on 2nd down Nightmare LB Dustin Spangle jumped in front of the TE coming across the middle for an interception at the Ravens 43. On the Nightmare's 2nd play of the drive, Hann hit wide open WR Darin Spangle on a deep out and as he looked up field Zac Huricks caught him from behind and knocked the ball loose. EJ Ash recovered at the 12 for the Ravens.

The Ravens needed just 9 plays to cover the 88 yards, but a big chunk came on a 28 yard pass interference penalty on the Nightmare. Ash scored easily from a yard out behind the blocking of FB Billy Vann and OL Chad Cornish.
EJ Ash put the Ravens back in the lead at 23-22 with this 38 yard run on the last play of the 3rd quarter.
This athletic play by JR Wells put the Nightmare in the lead for good.
The Nightmare turned the ball over again on their first play from scrimmage. The receiver missed an audible and when the QB threw to the spot the only player there was Raven LB JaVonn Quinn, who returned the ball to the Nightmare 38. The Ravens needed just one play to capitalize on Quinn's interception, with EJ Ash going straight up the middle forthe score.

The Nightmare opened the 4th quarter with a 10 play - 73 yard drive. Receiver JR Wells was well covered running a streak route so QB Ryan Hann simply threw the ball at the back of the defender and let Wells come back to it. He scored easily and the PAT put the Nightmare back on top at 29-23.
Brandon Hill hit Doc White in the back of the endzone to pull the Ravens to within 8.
Despite losing a shoe early on, RB Trevor Walters kept going on this 41 yard TD run late in the game.
The Ravens went 3 and out allowing the Nightmare offense to go to work on the clock with an 11 play - 48 yard drive that ended with Travis Ligras' 2nd field goal of the day, this one from 32 yards out.

With QB Casey Hughes experiencing constant pressure, the Ravens went 4 and out on their next drive. The Nightmare needed just one play to take advantage of the good field position as Trevor Walters broke 6 tackles as he went up the middle for a 41 yard score.

The Ravens made the game interesting with QB Brandon Hill needing just two plays to drive the Ravens 76 yards. He hit receiver Micah Prescott for 56 yards, and then found Doc White open in the endzone from 15 yards out.

Needing just 8 points to tie it up, the Ravens lined up for the onside kick but the ball went out of bounds. The Nightmare offense came on to run out the clock.
