Keys to the game:
Turnovers (Stallions 6, Jaguars 1)
Stallions had 4 turnovers from the QB position playing without starting QB Kenneth Jackson who was hurt last week against the Cavaliers.
Jaguar passing game outplayed the Stallion pass defense.

1st Quarter
.....Starting from their own 23, the Stallions opened the game with a 9 play, 45 yard drive down to the Jaguar 32. The drive stalled when FB Tim Reese was stuffed for a short gain on 4th and 2. Earlier on the drive Reese had busted up the middle for 9 yards on 3rd and 2 but the Jags were ready for him this time. Reese, Bradley Chappell and Tobias Smith combined for 46 yards on 7 carries.
.....After the teams exchanged punts, each following a 3 and out series, the Jags took over at their 40. On first down Leo Dickerson connected with Michael Bush for 26 yards down to the Stallion 34. The Stallion defense stiffened bringing up 4th and 8 from the 32 as the 1st quarter ended.

2nd Quarter

On 3rd and 26, Michael Bush's one-handed catch for a 17 yard gain set up Mike Astley's 55 yard punt as the first half ended.

.....On 4th and 8, Dickerson hit Anthony Montgomery on a deep post and he went untouched into the endzone. Mike Astley's PAT put the Jags up 7-0. On the ensuing kickoff Cesar Valencia knocked out the Stallion returner. The ball came loose but the returner was ruled down by contact. Two plays later DT Fred Hardwell recovered a botched handoff at the Jaguar 26.
.....The Stallion defense again played tough for 3 plays. On 4th and 12 from the 28 Dickerson over threw Carlos Clark flying down the left sideline. A roughing the quarterback penalty gave the Jaguars a 1st down at the 14. Tank Proctor rumbled off right tackle for 7 yards but that was all the Stallion defense allowed and Mike Astley's 24 yard field goal put the Jags up 10-0.
.....Starting at their own 23, the Stallions moved the ball down to the Jaguar 44 in 7 plays. On 3rd and 4, LB Dion Alexander met the Stallion RB at the line of scrimmage causing a fumble that was recovered by DE Terrance Stitt.
.....On 1st and 10 from the Jaguars Dickerson chased down an errant shotgun snap and LB Ishmael Littleton smothered him for a 9 yard loss. A penalty and a 2 yard loss on a swing pass to Bush brought up 3rd and 26. Dickerson rolled right and hit Bush across the middle for 17 yards. Mike Astley boomed a 55 yard punt as the half expired.
